SupportDesk helps businesses answer their customers. Here's what we keep and why.
If you use SupportDesk at work
We keep your name, work email, a one-way hash of your password, and what you and your team write in your desk. We use a single sign-in cookie, and no advertising or tracking cookies.
If you've contacted a business that uses SupportDesk
Your message, name, email address and any files you sent are held for that business, and it decides what to do with them. Please ask that business if you want something changed or removed.
Automatic answers
A team can choose to have SupportDesk answer simple questions from its help articles. If it uses Claude to write those answers, the customer's message and the team's help articles are sent to Anthropic for that purpose. Internal notes never are.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data or show ads. We don't read your tickets, except when you ask for help, or when we have to in order to keep the service secure and running.
Where it lives
On our own servers in Germany, with daily backups kept on the same machine.
Taking it with you
Admins can download everything, or delete the whole desk for good, from Settings at any time.
