DataKing

A data warehouse without the surprise bill.

Drop in a file and query it in seconds. There are no clusters to size and no credits to count. You pay one flat price, however many queries you run.

Warehouses, clusters, sizes, auto-suspend, creditsNothing. Queries just run, and they're never metered.
Worksheets, notebooks, dashboards, app buildersOne kind of page. Present mode is the dashboard.
Stages, file formats, COPY INTO, a 250 MB limitDrop a file of up to 2 GB. Bad rows are reported, never fatal.
Role, warehouse, database and schema pickersA workspace has tables. That's the whole hierarchy.
Task graphs, streams, job schedulers"Refresh this when its sources change."
UPPERCASE names and "quoted" identifiersPlain snake_case, so you never type a quote.
"An unknown exception occurred""There's no column called custmer. Did you mean customer?"
Months of migration workCopy your tables across in minutes. Your SQL mostly runs as it is, DATEADD and IFF included.

Pages that can't go stale

Blocks refer to each other by name and recompute when something upstream changes. There's no kernel, no hidden state and no run order to get wrong.

Every change can be undone

Each table keeps its history for 30 days. Look at any past version, or go back to it in one click, even after an accidental DELETE or DROP.

Honest about your data

Types come from reading the whole file, not a sample. If a value doesn't fit, you're told which one and on which row, and the rest still loads.

Your data, wherever it lives

Drop a file, paste a link, or connect Postgres or MySQL. Tables stay fresh on a schedule, and anything built on them follows along by itself.

Moving is the easy part

Point it at Snowflake or Databricks and pick your tables. Connection details are encrypted, and DataKing only ever reads.

Safe to let people explore

No query can run up a bill, so nobody needs permission to ask a question. Viewers can read and run anything, and change nothing.

Who it's for

Teams whose data fits on one good machine, which is nearly everyone: most warehouse queries scan far less than a gigabyte. If you have petabytes and a platform team, the big platforms are built for you. If you have a few spreadsheets, a database and a growing list of questions, you shouldn't need a platform team to answer them.
